What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a health care profession aimed to help rehabilitate anyone suffering from injury, illness or disability through the use of manual therapy, exercise and movement, education and advice.
All our physiotherapists are recognised members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professionals’ Council. Continued professional development is expected of each chartered physiotherapist, this ensures that the most up to date treatment methods and techniques are applied to the care of each patient. Each of our team have continued their professional development by attending courses when possible and through training with other health professionals such as podiatrists, osteopaths and chiropractors. It is through this, that we have developed our approach to treatment and rehabilitation ensuring all aspects are covered.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR INITIAL ASSESSMENT?
Our physiotherapist will complete a full detailed examination of your injury to diagnose and identify the underlying cause of your symptoms. Following this the physiotherapist will fully discuss the diagnosis and outline an appropriate treatment plan to manage you back to fitness.
The treatment will always commence on your initial assessment, this early intervention is vital for the successful outcome of any injury.
